Tuere Randall, also known as “La Jamericaine,” is the founder of ColorMeCarnival, launched in February 2017. She’s a travel, fashion, beauty and lifestyle writer, with a penchant for all things Caribbean.
A NYC native, she developed an affinity for Carnival as a celebration of the unique heritage, pride and cultural expression of the West Indies, not only in the Caribbean but also major cities throughout the world with large Caribbean populations.
ColorMeCarnival is an ode to the beauty, diversity and rhythm of island life at Carnival time. A self-professed Carnival Chaser, she is dedicating herself to chasing Carnival year round. Her goal is to travel to as many festivals as she possibly can each year, while sharing her adventures with her readers.
When she’s not writing, making plans for her next excursion, or picking costumes, Tuere is trying new recipes, working on her photography, being a tirelessly passionate advocate for animals, shopping on the internet and enjoying spending time with her family and loved ones.
She is also Managing Editor of Digital for OCEAN Style Magazine, an upscale Caribbean lifestyle publication.
